Her Story
Faithfully recording what the Lord placed on her heart
For years, Anne Shostrom Collins has faithfully recorded the words, impressions, encouragements, and spiritual lessons the Lord has placed on her heart. What began as private conversations with God eventually became messages shared with family, friends, and church groups — and ultimately the pages of Anne’s Songs.
Her passion is simple: helping people recognize that God is still speaking, still guiding, and still drawing His children into a personal relationship with Him.
Through life’s joys, losses, challenges, and victories, Anne has learned that God’s faithfulness remains constant. Her desire is that readers would not simply read her words, but encounter the Father’s heart for themselves. Today she continues to encourage others through ministry, personal testimony, and the message found within Anne’s Songs.

Why She Wrote It
A desire to help others discover
what she has discovered
Anne’s Songs was never part of a plan to become an author. The book grew out of years spent in quiet relationship with God — listening, praying, writing, and recording the words, impressions, and encouragement He placed on Anne’s heart.
Again and again, people would encounter these messages and find comfort, direction, peace, and reassurance at exactly the moment they needed it. Those experiences convinced Anne that the words were not meant to remain in a journal — they were meant to be shared.
More than anything, Anne’s Songs was inspired by a desire to help people discover what she has discovered for herself: that God is personal, faithful, present, and still speaking to those who take time to listen.
